It provides substantial magic attack and defence bonuses, making it one of the best non-degradable Magic armour options for mid-to-high-level players. The light variant is identical in stats to its dark counterpart but differs in appearance. Players often wear Mystic robe top (light) while training Magic, casting High Level Alchemy, or doing PvM activities such as Slayer and bossing. Its high magic attack bonus makes it a practical and affordable upgrade over splitbark or standard wizard robes. Light mystic robe tops are the body armour of the light mystic set, identical in stats to the dark version. Many players prefer the bright appearance for fashionscape. The light top is dropped by several high-level Slayer monsters.
