Combat Level Calculator

Enter your seven combat stats to get your combat level exactly as the server computes it. The formula here is the one in the game source - its base bracket weights defence, hitpoints, and prayer at 0.2535 with a +1 offset, then adds your biggest style component (melee, ranged at 1.5×, or magic at 1.5×) and caps the result at 126. Generic OSRS calculators use 0.25, so they can read a level different from what you see in game.

Uses the server's exact formula - not the OSRS wiki's. This server weights the base bracket at 0.2535 with a +1 offset, and combat caps at 126.

“-” means that stat cannot push you up before 99. When a melee stat shows “-” while Ranged or Magic dominates, Attack and Strength contribute nothing until the melee component overtakes them.

Building a pure or a zerker? The “cheapest path” panel shows the fewest levels in each stat needed to reach your next combat level - keep prayer and defence low to hold your bracket down.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this combat calculator different from the OSRS wiki one?

This server's getCombatLevel() weights the defence/hitpoints/prayer bracket at 0.2535 with a +1 offset, not the standard 0.25. That pushes many builds a level higher than wiki calculators report, and the result caps at 126.

Which stat dominates my combat level?

Whichever of your three style brackets is largest: melee (attack + strength), ranged (level × 1.5), or magic (level × 1.5). The calculator shows which one is driving your level and the cheapest stat to raise next.

How do I keep my combat level low as a pure?

Hold defence, hitpoints, and prayer low - they feed the base bracket at 0.2535 each. The "cheapest path" panel shows exactly how many levels in each stat push you to the next combat level.
