Theatre of Blood Guide
Bosses guide · Updated September 2025
Theatre of Blood is the second raid - a linear six-room dungeon that ends at Verzik Vitur. The teleport lands at 3670, 3220 in Ver Sinhaza; the party board beside the entrance handles team formation before anyone climbs in.
ToB is less procedural than CoX: the rooms are fixed, the order is fixed, and the difficulty comes from mechanics layered on each boss rather than random generation.
The party board
Assemble your team on the party board outside - same model as CoX: one leader, up to a full raid party, and the leader opens the curtain. Everyone inside shares the run; leavers can rejoin from the lobby while the party survives.
The rooms
The Maiden of Sugadinti opens the dungeon: a blood-magic boss whose adds need to be burst before they heal her. Bloat follows - a stomping corpse that chases its target; spread out and let it wander.
Nylocas room is the swarm check - waves of nylos spawn toward the group, each hit prayable against their color, while the boss Nylo King telegraphs big attacks. Sotetseg is the puzzle room: a moving tile grid to memorize while ghosts hunt you.
Xarpus guards the final stretch - a stale-hitting undead brute whose stomps hit the tile you were standing on. Then Verzik Vitur herself: three phases, spider-to-vampire transformation, webs, bombs, and a p2 that punishes bad positioning.
Verzik Vitur
Verzik is the exam. Phase one webs you to the chair area and fires orbs - step-side or take heavy hits. Phase two transforms her: melee swipes, ranged blood bolts, and the spider webs that anchor teammates to tiles.
Phase three summons adds and speeds everything up. Positioning is the whole fight: stand behind the chair pillars to break line-of-sight on her charge attacks, and keep prayer up for whichever style she is rolling.
Rewards
Every chest rolls regular supplies - runes, herbs, runite ore, dragon bolts, brews, restores, sharks - plus a 1-in-18 shot at the unique table: dragon claws, onyx, abyssal whip, all four godswords, and the saradomin sword.
The regular drops are generous enough that a completed run pays for itself even without the unique roll.
The server's custom rewards
Honest note: this server's ToB does not drop the OSRS uniques - no scythe, no sang staff, no avernic. The rewards are the custom table in `TobRewards.java`: dragon claws, onyx, abyssal whip, godswords, saradomin sword, plus the standard supply rolls.
That makes ToB a high-end PvM challenge with real rewards rather than the OSRS-style jackpot raid - the fight is the prize, the drops are the bonus. Check the table below for the actual server rewards.
The bosses inside
Five bosses in sequence: the Maiden of Sugadinti, Pestilent Bloat, Nylocas Vasilias, Sotetseg, and Xarpus - then Verzik Vitur at the end. Each is a mechanical exam of a different kind: the Bloat is a movement test, the Nylocas is a DPS check, Sotetseg is a maze-and-survival puzzle.
Teams of 3-5 are the standard; the raid scales to party size.
- A dedicated party - the mechanics are not soloable.
- Prayer flicks and movement carry the raid.
- Custom rewards differ from OSRS - read the table.
