Chaos Elemental Guide
Bosses guide · Updated September 2025
The Chaos Elemental at 3267, 3916 is the deep-wild boss famous for one trick: it can unequip your gear mid-fight. Every attack has a chance to strip a random equipment slot straight to your inventory - which is why it kills more inventories than players.
The Chaos Elemental Jr pet is the signature drop alongside dragon items, elite clues, and the wilderness supply table.
The unequip mechanic
His attack has a chance to unequip a random item - weapon, shield, armour piece - straight into your inventory. If your inventory is full it drops to the floor. Keep slots free for re-equipping and never bring gear you cannot afford to lose on the ground.
The counter is spare inventory space: bring 27 food but leave room to re-wear what gets stripped.
Deep wildy context
He sits in the deepest part of the wilderness - the longest PKer check-route on the map. The boss itself is a straightforward melee fight; the danger is the commute.
The drops
Dragon 2h, dragon pickaxe, dragon dagger, elite clues, the pet, and the wilderness table of runes and supplies - all resolved below with GE links on tradeables.
Inventory discipline
The unequip hits random slots - weapon, shield, chest, legs. Every piece stripped lands in your inventory, so keep at least two free spaces and re-wear items the moment they land. A full inventory means your gear hits the floor, and in the wilderness that is a write-off.
Experienced farmers carry a spare weapon for the slot-strips: if the main weapon unequips mid-swing, the backup keeps the fight moving while you recover.
- Two free inventory slots minimum - more is safer.
- Re-equip stripped items immediately, not between kills.
- Bring gear you can afford to lose on the ground.
What makes him worth it
The Chaos Elemental Jr pet is the signature - one of the classic wilderness pets. The dragon 2h and dragon pickaxe rolls are the material drops, and the elite clue scroll chance makes him a double-purpose farm for clue hunters.
He is also just quick: a two-minute kill with a decent setup, which means the shard-hunters and pet-hunters can cycle him fast between PKer checks.
The pet and the odds
Chaos Elemental Jr is a 1/300-class pet roll - rare enough to be a real chase, common enough that dedicated farmers see it within a few hundred kills. The dragon items on the same table mean the kills pay for themselves while you hunt it.
He is also a decent elite-clue source - the scroll drops fill the gap between the rare rolls and keep every kill feeling productive.
Session summary
The deepest wildy boss with the weirdest trick - keep inventory space for stripped gear, expect the unequip, and treat every trip as a one-pker-away-from-trouble run.
The deep-wild commute
At 3267, 3916 he is the farthest boss from any safe zone - the walk itself is half the risk. The obelisks and mage-bank levers are the escape routes to know before you commit to a long session.
