About Onyx bolts (e)

Onyx bolts (e) are enchanted onyx-tipped runite crossbow bolts, one of the most powerful Ranged ammunition types. Their special effect, Life Leech, has a chance to heal the player for 25 percent of the damage dealt, making them extremely useful for long boss fights and high-level PvM. Because the enchanted bolts require high Fletching, Magic, and Ranged levels, they are expensive and generally reserved for end-game content such as the Inferno, Chambers of Xeric, and Theatre of Blood. The Life Leech effect makes these bolts especially strong at the Inferno and other endurance-based PvM. The healing from these bolts can save inventory space by reducing the need for extra food in long fights.
