Inferno Guide

Minigames guide · Updated September 2025

The Inferno is the harder, longer version of the Fight Caves - 69 waves inside the Mor Ul Rek volcano that end at TzKal-Zuk. The minigame teleport lands at 2495, 5112 at the entrance platform.

It is the hardest solo PvM content on the server: the waves add mechanics the Fight Caves never ask for - nibblers, rangers, blobs, triple jads - before Zuk himself takes the stage.

The wave gauntlet

Waves scale relentlessly: early waves are TzHaar fodder, mid-waves introduce the ranger and blob packs that need positioning, and late waves spawn triple jads simultaneously - the prayer-flick exam that ends most first attempts.

There is no resume here - a logout ends the run. Budget real hours, not breaks.

TzKal-Zuk

Zuk is the final exam: a massive dragon at the end of wave 69 that cycles through every mechanic the waves taught you - orbs to dodge, adds to kill, prayer flicks to land. The infernal cape drops on the kill.

Preparation

  • Best-in-slot everything - the Inferno checks your gear, not just your skill.
  • Ranged and magic swap gear; the fight demands both.
  • Full restore stack, brews, stamina - the run takes hours.
  • Fight Caves clear first - the mechanics carry over.

Learning the waves

The Inferno punishes the same skills the Fight Caves teach - prayer flicks, corner safespotting, kiting - but adds the wave complexity on top. Most first-clear attempts take multiple sessions; each attempt teaches you which wave configuration kills you, and the next run is built to survive that one.

Nibblers are the first real check: they eat through your pillar cover. Kill them on sight or learn to fight without pillars by wave 20.

  • Solve the double-jad waves before attempting Zuk.
  • The blob splits on death - position the kill so the split lands away from you.
  • Brews over food: they do not interrupt your attacks.

The cape

The infernal cape is the strongest melee cape in the game - the reward that justifies the hours. A first infernal on a PvP server is also a real statement piece: everyone at the GE knows what it cost to earn.

Learning without losing runs

Wave 53+ is where most attempts die - the triple jad waves. Practice the Fight Caves Jad until the flick is automatic, then treat the inferno version as the same mechanic under pressure: three simultaneous prayer tells, one correct response each tick.

Watch the spawn order on each wave - it determines where you stand and which monster you kill first. The Inferno rewards preparation more than reflexes.

  • Learn the safespot pillar positions on the early waves.
  • The ranger always spawns north - plan around it.
  • Zuk is a memory test, not a gear test - know the pattern.

The final waves

Waves 66-68 are the triple-jad gauntlet - three simultaneous Jads each needing correct prayer flicks every attack. This is where first clears die, and where the Fight Caves muscle memory either holds or does not.

Wave 69 is Zuk alone - a mercy after the triple jads, but a different exam: the shield mechanic, the healers, and the orb-dodge timing all at once.
