Agility Guide
Skills guide · Updated September 2025
Agility pays run energy and shortcuts - the unglamorous stats that quietly make every other grind faster. This server ports the full course lineup: eleven courses covering every bracket from 1 to 99, plus the general shortcuts (stiles, grapples, walls, rope swings) scattered through the map.
Every course is a chain of obstacles - click them in order, and finishing the lap without missing a step pays a completion bonus on top of the per-obstacle XP.
Course progression
| Level | Course | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gnome Stronghold | Starter circuit - low XP but zero failure |
| 30 | Barbarian Outpost | Basalt course, decent XP per lap |
| 35 | Draynor rooftop | First mark-of-grace course |
| 40 | Al Kharid rooftop | Urban lap, good marks rate |
| 50 | Varrock rooftop | The mid-game standard |
| 52 | Canifis rooftop | Slayer-adjacent, werewolf town |
| 60 | Falador rooftop | Pays well, busy map |
| 70 | Seers Village rooftop | The classic 70s grind |
| 80 | Rellekka rooftop | Fremennik circuit |
| 90 | Ardougne rooftop | The best course - top XP and marks |
| 52 | Wilderness course | Best XP per level - but in the deep wild |
Marks of grace and the squirrel
Rooftop laps have a chance to drop a mark of grace - the collectible that buys the graceful outfit (weight reduction + faster run-energy restore) and the amylase crystal. Donator tiers boost the drop rate, so mark grinding gets faster the higher your founder pack.
Each lap also rolls the giant squirrel pet - the agility skilling pet - at the same odds as every other action-based roll.
- Do not skip laps - the lap bonus + mark roll only fires on a complete chain.
- Wilderness course pays best XP but only attempt it with a teleport ready.
- Graceful outfit is the real reason to farm marks - it pays for itself in run energy.
Shortcuts worth knowing
The map is seeded with functional shortcuts - stiles, crumbling walls, loose railings, rope swings, grapples, underwall tunnels, stepping stones, and climbing rocks - each with an agility level gate. The Trollheim ones alone save minutes per trip when you run GWD.
Agility cape perk
The agility skillcape offers a once-per-day stamina boost: full run energy plus a 60-second stamina effect that cuts run drain to 30% while it lasts. Combined with graceful, it turns you into the fastest moving player on the map.
The course ladder
Progression is a straight ladder of courses: Gnome at 1, Draynor rooftop at 10, Varrock at 30, Canifis at 40, Falador at 50, Seers at 60, Ardougne at 90. Each course out-levels the last - stay on a course too long and the XP stalls hard.
Rooftop courses drop marks of grace, which buy the graceful outfit - the weight-reduction set that makes every other agility run faster and every wildy escape more forgiving.
Session summary
Ladder the courses, bank the marks of grace, and buy the graceful set first - agility is slow XP but the utility touches everything else you do on the server.
