The twisted buckler is a ranged shield obtained from the Chambers of Xeric raid, requiring 75 Ranged and 75 Defence to wield. It provides the highest ranged attack and ranged strength bonuses of any shield in the game, making it the best-in-slot ranged off-hand for crossbow users. Because the dragon hunter crossbow and other crossbow builds are dominant in dragon-killing content, the twisted buckler sees heavy demand from serious ranged players, and its raid-rare drop rate keeps supply limited and the price high.
