The dragonfire shield is the premier anti-dragon shield in Old School RuneScape, made by combining a draconic visage with an anti-dragon shield and requiring 75 Defence to wield. It offers the strongest dragonfire protection available, and it absorbs dragonfire charges that can be discharged as a powerful special attack. Because dragons are some of the most-fought monsters in the game, the DFS is a near-mandatory purchase for anyone doing dragon content, and its price is propped up by the cost of the rare visage needed to make it. It is the definitive shield for dragon hunters and a staple of anti-dragon setups.
