About Primordial crystal
The primordial crystal is a rare drop from Cerberus used to create primordial boots by combining it with dragon boots. Because primordial boots are the best melee boots in the game, the crystal's price is essentially the finished boots' price minus the cost of dragon boots. Cerberus is a moderately farmed boss, so the crystal's supply is steady but not abundant, and its price tracks melee-boot demand. It is one of three Cerberus crystals and its price is usually the highest of the trio because melee demand is the strongest of the three boot upgrades. The crystal is a direct proxy for the value of best-in-slot melee footwear and is watched closely by players building endgame melee sets.
