About Kraken tentacle
The kraken tentacle is a drop from the kraken boss used to create the abyssal tentacle whip — an upgraded abyssal whip with +8 slash attack and +4 strength bonus over the base whip, that also degrades after 10,000 hits and consumes the tentacle in the process. Because it is the ingredient for a best-in-slot upgrade that literally gets used up, the tentacle has permanent consumable-style demand: every tentacle whip that breaks creates a buyer for a new tentacle. That continuous consumption keeps its price elevated relative to its drop rate and makes it one of the more reliable hold items in the game.
