About Adamant bolts (p)
Adamant poisoned bolts are adamant crossbow bolts coated with standard weapon poison, adding a damage-over-time effect to every crossbow hit. They require 46 Ranged to use and are a budget way to add poison pressure to crossbow attacks. Because the poison ticks away at the target's hitpoints, these bolts are useful for extended fights and Slayer tasks where the target survives long enough for the poison to matter. Their price tracks normal adamant bolts plus the small added cost of applying weapon poison. The poisoned bolt is a low-cost way to add damage over time for players using an adamant crossbow in longer fights.
