Ourg bones are ancient ogre bones from the ogre burial tomb, a high-level Prayer item. They are obtained from Ourg skeletons in Jiggig or from the God Wars Dungeon and provide a large amount of Prayer experience when buried or used on a gilded altar. Because Ourg bones are one of the best bones for Prayer training outside of dragon bones, they are valuable to players training Prayer efficiently. Many players collect Ourg bones during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest or from Ourg remains. Gilded altars in player-owned houses double the Prayer experience from Ourg bones. Ourg bones can also be used with the Bonecrusher and prayer-boosting gear for passive experience gains.
