About Merchant's paint
Merchant's paint is a vibrant gold, members-only boat paint worth 1 gp, used to recolour the trim of a skiff or sloop. Trimming a boat requires 25 Sailing and 20 Construction, giving 10 Construction experience, with one paint for skiffs and two for sloops. To obtain it, players must hand Trader Stan all five tradeable paints at once, which can require high Sailing levels and salvage from mercenary shipwrecks. It gives boats a flashy, wealthy appearance.
