Dragon boots are the classic mid-tier melee boots requiring 60 Defence to wear, dropped by spiritual mages in the God Wars Dungeon. They provide a small strength bonus and are the standard budget boots for melee setups before players can afford primordial or Bandos boots. Because they are cheap, useful, and frequently needed by new and rebuilding accounts, dragon boots trade in steady volume and are one of the most commonly purchased armour upgrades in the game. They are also the base item for primordial boots, which adds a second source of demand beyond their direct use and keeps the market active at all times.
